Size Guide

When ordering apparel from Otter Things, be sure to double-check the size of the product before adding it to your cart. The best way to decide which size is right for you is to measure one of your own shirts, hoodies, etc. Lay it on a flat surface as shown in the picture and take accurate measurements. Now you can simply compare to the chart below.

If you already know the person’s chest size, simply divide that measurement by 2, find that number on the width column and order that size of apparel.

T-Shirt Ex. 40” chest / 2 = 20”  This correlates to a Medium on the chart.

Hoodie Ex. 40” chest / 2 = 20”  This correlates to a Small on the chart.

Onesie Ex. 20 3/4” chest / 2 = 10 3/8”  This correlates to an 18M on the chart.

See the diagrams below for measurements.

Note about Baby, Toddler, and Youth sizes

Since our young otter lovers grow up so fast, consider ordering one size up if their measurements are close to the next size. They’ll get the most wear out of the apparel.

Note about Unisex Hawaiian Shirt sizes

Use the full chest/bust measurment when sizing. Hawaiian shirts are meant to be loose and flowing for a relaxed look. Due to manual measurement, our size chart will have an error range of 0.39 -1.18 inches. When in doubt, order the next size up.
