An Otterly Huge Thank You

Our World Otter Day celebration has ended, and we want to thank all of our customers for helping give to the Buffalo Zoo’s otter exhibit. You all made a difference by shopping with us this past May.

We tallied our proceeds and are pleased to announce that, because of you, we were able to donate $100 to support the care and enrichment of our local otters, Rascal, Ellie, and Daisy.

Celebrating otters doesn’t have to happen once a year. We can all do our part by learning new facts about these keystone species, supporting organizations that help otters, and of course, showing off otter wares and how much you adore these awesome animals.

We hope to have a similar event next year, so stay tuned to our blog posts, or sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about it and other Otter Things events.

When she’s not busy enlisting critters to help her take over the world, she writes stories and recreates nature's marvels in various media. She finds solace in writing, and when she can't find the words to write, she draws. She established Otter Things in 2011 to provide otter inspired wares for other otter lovers like herself. Each illustration is unique and inspired by the artist's love for nature and whimsy.
